So... yeah. I've known about Amtgard for a while, but was unable to really get into it for the last four years or so. Here's a brief "profile," if you will by way of an introduction. Real Name: Michael Persona: Kale Cytair Class: Assassin Time in Class: 0 credits Location: Albuquerque (obviously ;) ) Occupation: US Air Force A bit about me: I'm currently active duty Air Force stationed at Kirtland AFB. I've been in a little over seven years and have been stationed at RAF Mildenhall, UK, Dover AFB, DE, Elmendorf AFB, AK and now here. I work primarily on the C-130's at Kirtland, and for the most part love my job. I'm relatively active, being involved in paintball, mountain biking and (hopefully) soon will be into mountain climbing. I also play Warhammer 40k and various other boardgames, tabletop games and video games. My history with Amtgard: I played Amtgard for a little under a year, where I was introduced to the game by Weilok and her husband (whom I can never remember the persona name of...) and got really into it. Unfortunately, I didn't really have the funds to pick it up again when I was on the East Coast, and so it languished in the background until Weilok reminded me that I was basically going to be in her home domain. At which point I got all excited about Amtgard again So, with all that being said, I'm hoping to perhaps make it out to the field either this Saturday or the next meet some the folks from around here. It may be a while before I can really afford to play, but I'd be happy to hang out and get to know folks, with maybe a little boffing thrown in for kicks and giggles. Had a good time
Was out at the park today, but only for an hour or so. Had a great time watching the tournament, you guys seem to have a lot of fun playing. Next time I make it out, I'm hoping to at least get in a bit of ditching, though I'll likely have to use loaner weapons.

no problem, there'll hopefully be plenty of ditching and a battlegame in next week, the tourney weekends are usually pretty slow. There are definitely loaner weapons available.
