Playing a Monster

If I was to come out to an Amtgard park, would I be able to just play a monster from the (Monster Manual) at level 1 at least twice a month during any battle game scenario?

not really.

Basically you ask whoever's running the game if you can play, and they *should* say yes. Some parks will let you play, some won't; it all depends on what group you're going to.
