Dear Amtgarders:

As you may know, Teliel Ap Telfi is dying of bone cancer. As his caregiver, I am informing everyone that he has basically 6-8 weeks to live. As of this writing, he weighs but 135 pounds.

I am getting his funeral arrangements together. The initial plan is to hold a small ceremony for 10-15 people, a party afterwards (all on Teliel) and a burial the following day at the Santa Fe Memorial Cemetery, as he is a US Navy veteran.

On March 7, 2009, on or about 7 p.m., the Duchy of Pegasus Valley will have a Barbarian-themed Coronation Feast at 9021 Montgomery (The New Mexico Restaurant Association).

$5.00 fee will apply payable at the door to the Head Barbarian. However, those RSVP'ing by Feb. 28, 2009 will get a special present!

As tentatively planned, the menu will be:

I was glad to have helped in the recent Mid-Reign Feast on Dec. 6. The veterans at the New Mexico Integration Center also had many compliments over the ham and desserts we donated to them after the feast.
Special kudos to Lord Marcil, whose ambrosia dessert was a huge hit, as well as our Regent, who worked so hard to make this a success.
On a personal note, I was honored to be awarded the Order of the Rose as well as a lst Order of the Zodiac for the event. I was also very pleased to have received a fantastic belt favor from Our Duchess.
As Guildmaster of Smiths, I intend to help stage demonstrations to boost our membership, as well as a soon-to-be announced Barbarian Feast in early 2009.
