Reviews

The old reviews are up now.

Next up is the article import.

Armor Guild Story Import

Old stories will be showing up on the site starting today. They are using their original publication dates so they'll be showing up as older articles.

I'll be dropping them in one or two a day until they are all there.

If you had written an article on the old site, please sign up to the new site here so I can assign the article to your user account.

Database Dump

I managed to get a full database dump from the old site running on my dev server. Most of the articles can be cut and paste with little effort.

I have been trying to decide if it is worth the effort to convert the forum posts and original comments. They would no longer be individual posts, just archives of the discussions.

How to Knit a Simple Mail Vest

These instructions will show you how to knit a mail (often called chainmail) vest. Using a European 4 in 1 weave, this vest is a good project for anyone interested in making mail.

The biggest investment in this project is time. Expect to spend 40+ hours knitting your first vest and even more time if you are making your own butt rings.

Want to make chain armor really cheap?

These instructions will show you how to coil and cut your own butt rings for making mail or fishing lures.

Book of Chainmail

A test book to see how this works. Currently using old entries that need to be rewritten and broken tags fixed.

So far this is interesting.

should I?

should I be putting my newbie building stuff here?

Amtgard Armorers Guild Rebuild

It's been a while, but the new site framework is up and running. It's at a new address but the old links should still work.

http://armorguild.pegasusvalley.com/

Forums, Image Gallery, and Worklog/Blog should all be functioning.

Content from the old site still needs to be imported, but before I do that I would appreciate it if everyone would poke around and let me know if anything is broken. If there are no issues I'll be opening up the site for story submissions again.
